Here are some common questions we get regarding lawn mowing:
Question: "My lawn hasn't been mowed for several weeks and is a bit overgrown..."
On your very first mowing service, if the lawn is overgrown, it can take the crew 2-3 times longer to mow the grass. This initial cut may cost extra, but after the first 1-2 cuts, your price will fall in alignment with the standard fees.
Question: "My lawn takes 10 minutes to mow. Why does it cost $38?"
We have a minimum cost of $38 per mowing service. Even if the lawn is 500 sq feet, we still must charge $40 per service. Trucks, trailers, insurance, fuel, and other expenses make it vital for us to charge that minimum fee. Also, our office staff takes time to service and account for each Client for billing, invoicing, and Customer service. For more information on our pricing, please read this article.
Question: "What about treatments and fertilizers?"
We recommend Quality Care for all lawn fertilizing.

Some of the variables that will affect the price are;
Shape: A perfectly rectangular lawn will take a considerable amount of less time to mow in comparison to an oddly shaped lawn with flowerbeds and obstacles scattered throughout.
Access: Small gates into backyards keep us from using larger mowing equipment, and increases the time it takes to mow the backyard if it is fenced in. Long driveways or addresses with limited parking for our truck and trailer setup, also increase the time it takes to perform service. A lawn where the truck can park close is going to cost less.
Grade: A flat lawn is always simpler and safer to maintain than one that has a steep grade to it. Oftentimes it the little things like a ditch in front of the property that will increase the time it takes to mow because it has to be done with care or special equipment.
